Sweet Gourmand

Black Opium Intense is an interesting flanker of the original Black Opium. The absinthe notes start out strong at the opening but dissipate quite quickly, drying down to notes of bitter coffee and most strongly of a warm vanilla. It smelt quite powdery on me after a few hours and reminded me of cupcakes, not quite the image that a name like "Black Opium" evokes.
